Was John the Baptist part of the Essenes? I though I read that in previous studies.
Mary asks: Was John the Baptist part of the Essenes? In previous studies I’ve been told that he was, but I noticed they didn’t reference that in The Story.
Leigh-Ann asks: Why do you think Jesus tells some individuals not to say anything about what He’s done, even though He knows they will. I’m just curious why sometimes its mentioned He specifically says not to, and other times it doesn’t say that.
As an aside to that question, He tells the Samaritan woman quite plainly that He is the Messiah; what is your take on why He chose to tell her or why He chooses to speak plainly to some and not others.
